Opting out affects personalisation only. Ads may still be shown, selected without your data. We do not restrict, downgrade, or charge differently for the site on account of an opt-out — that would be unlawful.

The Practice in Question

To be precise about what is and is not happening: Stainlane does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We therefore make the opt-out available rather than rely on a narrow reading.
